Edit: It was a Mazda 6 2015 under my name. Previous: I went to Walt Eger to get my brake system changed in my car. The price was a little steep, but they had a year warranty plan. When I got my car back, there was still a very audible braking noise whenever the brakes were hot. I went back in to get it fixed by them and went for the test drive with them at the time to tell them what the sounds was. The mechanic was saying that he wasn’t able to hear the sound, until my partner pointed it out. That was when he heard it. They went back to look at the brakes again and they said nothing was wrong with it and sent me on my way again. I was fed up with going back to the shop to get my brakes fixed, because I felt like they weren’t going to fix it no matter how many times I pointed it out. So I went to another mechanic to get it inspected, there they told me that the brakes had defects on them, so I went back to Walt Eger with the report the other mechanic said, and the owner said they were not going to take a report from another mechanic. At that point, I gave up and went to the other shop. Once doing that, the defective brake pads were replaced and there was no longer the squeaking noise braking. I, all in all, did not have the best experience with this mechanic shop.
Hi Jelena - Bruce Spencer, Owner here. I take all reviews very seriously, but am struggling to find you in the system. Our team believes your partner may have been the person on the invoice? They are thinking about a month ago...possibly a GMC vehicle? But we couldn't identify it after much digging. As the owner, I did not speak to anyone about this. I promise I would remember. Our warranty, even on brakes, is a 3 year/ 36k mile warranty. If you are willing to call the shop, just ask for my cell or provide us with a good call back number for you. I would like to get to a better resolution than you are stating you received. Thank you.
