The shop does excellent work and backs up the repairs well with the 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty but I felt the costs for the work were too high for what was done !

My family takes both of our cars to this service station. They are fantastic, reliable and great communicators. I love their ‘diagnostic summary’ that they send you when quoting the price for parts and labor. I have a car that’s approaching 12 years of age and took it in for a ‘physical’ check up and asked them to advise what is urgently needed vs ‘nice to have’ repairs to keep the car reliable. They sent me a detailed summary with photos of the car in close up to show wear and tear and then their recommendations. I knew my car was over due for a lot of routine repairs that come with high mileage / age. I also loved that the summary report sent to me gave the name and even a photo of the tech working on my car as well as the service manager who was calling me. It gives a nice personal touch to the experience. It’s also handy if I ever had a follow up question after the repair was done.They’ve never tried to high pressure sell me on anything and have always been patient with my questions. I’ve never had a bad experience here and have referred many friends and family in the area.I also love that the owner, Bruce is very hands on. My first time taking my car in for repair in fact- I happened to show up just as they were closing and a man helped me check in my car to drop off the key in the overnight box. I felt bad because I didn’t know they were closing but the man was very friendly and considerate. I later recognized him in some local advertising that he was in fact the owner. That’s what I call service (I know many businesses whose owners are completely hands off when it comes to running the day to day operations but I can really tell that Bruce and all whom I’ve encountered who work there really care about what they do and I will be a life long customer.Thank you!Jeff

My wife dropped had her vehicle towed there due to some engine issues/noise. She didn't want to drive it in case there was a serious issue. She told them the problem the day it was towed there and had an appointment to have it looked at the next day. That evening she called because had not heard back and was "told it keeps starting, they can't get it to not start". Again was instructed that was not the problem and was told they wanted to keep it over the weekend so they could run diagnostics. Called Monday afternoon to get an update and again they said "it keeps starting and they can't get it to not start". Which was never the issue. They said "well thats why it was towed here right". So they were told on numerous occasions of the problem but chose to ignore it. I dont know if they had issues because it was a female telling them what the problem was or what. Naturally they apologized for the miscommunication, but it wasn't. Once may be a miscommunication but multiple times is either lack of caring or incompetence. Additionally we asked to speak to the owner who of course was in a meeting. Which was a lie based on tone and body language, but im sure they will say it wasnt.

I really wanted to give these guys a 5/5 but there was some miscommunication (partly on my end) and I should have done more research. I feel as though I was overcharged for front brake pads and rotors...so my total bill came out to being a lot higher than anticipated and there was still things that needed to be worked on, which I thought was going to be included in the price. However, it was not. I am sure the work they did is great, I am not arguing that, I just should have clarified all they were going to be doing before I went ahead with it, because now I am having to go get more stuff done that I thought was going to be included. Just do your research on multiple places. Times are tough this year, so it's deff worth it to get more than one or two estimates.

You can learn a lot about an auto repair shop by the loyalty of their customers. You will find a lot of loyal customers at Walt Eger's because it's a trustworthy shop that does quality work. I've been a customer for at least five years. That's not nearly as long as some of the other customers I've met, but this is one of a handful of local businesses that I would truly miss if I were to move or it were to go out of business. I have never had any reason to doubt the quality of work, the customer service has always been fantastic, they are transparent (providing digital reports with pictures and clear recommendations), and their the prices have always been fair. A fair price does not necessarily mean the lowest price, but you can be sure that they'll do the job right and give you honest assessments and recommendations. I haven't had any issues in my time as a customer, but every interaction I've had with the staff has led me to believe that if a problem were to occur, they would do everything they could to make it right. The staff always makes me feel welcome, and they somehow seem to know me better than I'd expect for how rarely I visit. I brought my car in today, and John noticed that I'd had another child since my last visit because I have two car seats in the car, whereas I only had one on the previous visit. I never got to meet Walt, but Bruce, the current owner, is very friendly and genuine. He's happy to talk with customers and even shuttles them to and from the shop sometimes. I highly recommend Walt Eger's Service Center, and I expect that I will be a loyal customer for many more years.

First time user, I was looking for a shop to bring all my vehicles for service and repair, this is unfortunately not it. Why?1. I asked for Mobile Full Synthetic HIGH Milage oil, didn’t get it. No response from the desk clerk, he actually didn’t even ask what I wanted.2. My left front tire was low when I went in and still low when it came out. They didn’t check the pressure and by the way, tire rotation is not standard.3. Nice pictures given with receipts but what does .7 or .6 mean on my brakes? Nothing was reviewed, I paid and was handed the papers.Nice enough people, just not the place for me.For what they did and what I paid I think I could get more for my money at Jiffy Lube.

Brought my vehicle in on a Thursday afternoon for an alternator replacement, serpentine belt, tires, and power steering fluid flush. They had the car back to me the following day looking like a brand new car. Drives great.

I had an inspection done on my vehicle and was grossly overcharged for simple repairs. I was also lied to about the condition of my oil pan ( just needed a new drain plug) they tried to run me $500 for that alone when it costs less than $200. This place is being mismanaged so please if you have a family mechanic go there before you enter this Rip off!!!!!

The owner himself shuttled me to and from my place of residence because I needed to leave my vehicle for overnight service. Never was any business so ready to accommodate and provide me with the information needed to streamline my recent move to the state. Will be back for future service.

I have seen the commercials for Walt Eger's for years and finally decided to try them for maintenance on my 2006 Tundra. What a GREAT experience. Fast, easy check-in, great update with pictures of all the service performed sent to me via the web. Great pricing. This is where I'll be getting ALL my service from now on. Nice to do business with a local garage.

Walt's is always great! They checked everything for the 48, 000 check-up, did what was needed. Checked the tires, said I might need new ones next time. Didn't do more than what was needed. Shuttled me home and picked me up when done. Everyone so helpful!

Took my 2013 Nissan Pathfinder to them b/c I was hearing a vibrating/fast tapping of metal sound under the ride. Walt Eger's was the 2nd shop I took it to & when they contacted me back, they said that they couldn't find the problem but I had a transmission problem & power steering problem. So I took to transmission shop, they told me they couldn't find or fix it but they also told me that there was nothing wrong with trans or steering that they could see. They didn't charge me $70 like Walt Eger did for doing nothing. Doubt if I would go to them again.
