Walt Eger’s Service Center is a top notch auto repair facility. There are repair shops closer to my home, but I don’t mind driving to Severn because I know I’m going to get great service. The prompt shuttle service provided means I can’t use that as an excuse for NOT taking my vehicles there for service. The warranty on work done is hard to beat. Owner Bruce Spencer seems to be continually looking for ways to improve the customer experience. This time around, he had a new invoicing system, which made paying the invoice very efficient. He has also installed lockboxes for retrieving keys to your vehicle after hours. Very impressive! I have always had Jacinto (Junior) work on my vehicles. He is a superb mechanic. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of car/truck repair. (He’s worked on both for me.) This time he was able to repair the air conditioning in my Volvo just ahead of our latest heat wave. He also looked over my car from bumper to bumper and helped me prioritize other repairs needed in the near future. I will continue to rely on Jacinto for future repair needs and I highly recommended Walt Eger’s Service Center for your next repair.

"We don't get our hands dirty" Mark, Walt Eger's Derrick our mechanic was great. Came in for an inspection that was fair and valid. Mark didn't do well communicating company policy or work do be done confusing our work order with another customer. Be aware, they have an internal policy not to work on cars older than 20 year for liability purposes. Totally normal and explained by another staff member. 5/5 for mechanic, would come back 3/5 for front staff.

Do not take your car here for a safety inspection. They are not fair and will fail you for cosmetic issues. If you have any modification to your vehicle, good luck. One of the fails they gave me was for not have stock rotors and break sizes.

Hi Steven, On MSI issues like this, we only ask that you don't shoot the messenger. As a shop, we represent the exact specs the state provides us for vehicle safety. Both the shop and the technician hold a license to perform MSIs. If you believe we failed your vehicle wrongly (noting it failed for multiple things, not just the brakes), we are happy to refer you to the Maryland State Police in Glen Burnie where they can review our inspection and your vehicle. You have the right to contest the inspection if you believe we wrongly failed it. But we simply can't compromise what the state requires us to perform. This is Bruce Spencer, Owner. Repair service was good. Needed the ball joint fixed on the front end of my Nissan. Mark got me in right away! The shuttle service was quick to & from my destination! Reasonable costs for everything! I recommend Walt Eger’s to everyone needing auto repair!

Fair prices. Great customer service. Only had a handful of things done there, but I'm aware of friends and family that have been going there for years. Highly recommend, if you're looking in the Glen Burnie Severn area (where most mechanics are snakes 🐍)

I was able to make an appointment on a Tuesday and have the work completed on a Wednesday. The problem was corrected and I was given many options to pick from on how in depth of a repair was was comfortable with. If I had a negative it would be my repair request was not documented correctly/entirely when I dropped the car off in person but, they called me with a questioning attitude and no harm no foul. I would definitely recommend them. 👌

Brought my car in for warranty work and they did a PHENOMENAL JOB!!! And I got my car back very quickly!
