My truck had overheated 2 days ago and after trying self-diagnose & fix, I ended calling Walt Egers & they were excellent! Having been a relatively "new" client (year & a half, with a troublesome Lincoln), I knew I would be taken care of and I wasn't disappointed. JD, the shop's manger, was great, very helpful & went above and beyond. Plus, he had my truck ready the same day!! A big Thank You to JD & the guys at Walt Egers! Thanks to you too, Bruce! Keep up the good work!!

Terrible!!!!!! Left my truck there for inspection. 20 days later never completed. Could not even get someone to get me a complete price for the inspection and repairs needed.

Fred - You have my sincerest apologies. We blew this one. After inspecting your vehicle, there was substantial work needed. We have been down two technicians (one left to join the army and I had to make a change with another one for poor attitude). We have two very good replacements starting this week. We never hire someone hoping they can do the quality of work we require. We make sure they meet our standards. So your vehicle was pushed back. I always have a great experience and my last trip was no exception. I get all my questions answered and when there is a difficult decision they are always helpful breaking down my options with reasonable prices.

Formerly a kind, trustworthy establishment. Unfortunately Walt sold the company to someone else, who now coasts on the business's good reputation. I and others in my family have been gouged and exploited, sometimes charged 600% markup for simple items like sparkplugs. There are some kind people that work there, but please don't reward the greed and dishonesty of this new owner.

Good morning Topher. This is Bruce Spencer, Owner. You will note that I reply to every review someone takes the time to leave, even the one stars. Usually, the one stars are not a customer. I looked into your family's history and you have been a customer so I looked deeply in case your claims have merit. We have not seen your 2001 Corolla since March 2017. At the time, we did extensive work on it...hub bearings, two tires, front end alignment (that required a CAM kit because it was so far out of alignment), flushed the transmission and completed an exhaust repair. No plugs. So I looked at ALL of the Corbetts' history with us and found a vehicle that received plugs. You mention a 600% markup on them. Those plugs each cost the shop over $20 apiece, clearly very costly plugs. I just wanted to confirm that we did not gouge you. I am comfortable we did not. Our family bought the shop and we work every day to honor Walt's legacy of trustworthy repairs at a fair price. We are not the cheapest, but we stand behind our 3 year/36k warranty and honor it every day. If you would like to discuss any of the above, please call the shop and ask for me. (410) 519-8445.
