They used my wheel lock, lost it and I knew it because the guy at the front desk (Mike) claimed there was only two wheel locks on my car. So I said okay, so why would there only be two? And they said well we have a special tool we use to get wheel locks off.. So I said okay if that's the case then could you put on 4 lug nuts to replace the wheel locks? And they said we have two customers ahead of you. Mind you these are mechanical issues.. all I need is 4 lug nuts. Telling me I would have to wait til much later. Like yeah.. that's real good customer service.

Mr. Matthew - Mike had your car confused with another Honda. In your case, we had to use our own "master tool" to get the wheel locks off. Our tech remembers it well and did not want to dig through your vehicle to find your tool. We did have two customers in front of you and asked you to come back in the afternoon and we would accommodate your request. It would not be fair to bump two waiting customers out for your vehicle. Please to all Consumers What are in search for a decent good price Car repair shop. Carefully check around first,before bringing your Car to Walt eger. Yes they are courteous But rip you off with your money. By overcharging for Repairs. And fixing things without consulting with you prior So you end up with a big bill. Not very professional. Had to bring my car back the first time While they had installed a faulty refurbished part. Another time after paying $2500 for some of the work which was not discussed prior the repair. 4 weeks later I had to bring it back again. Just to get ripped off again. Now I 've found myself a better and smaller Repair shop without the bells and whistles. And I have to say they are fantastic and don't charge a fortune for your car. Unless you like overpaying Good luck

Ms Dandy - This is Bruce Spencer, owner of Walt Eger's. I find your review very unfair. I have reviewed all of your work orders with us and have spoken with our Service Manager about your vehicle. We have never performed work without your consent and have not used refurbished parts. On the large ticket you reference for your 2006 Jetta, we performed the following work: front and rear brakes, a vacuum pump, replaced all spark plugs, replaced ignition coil #3 and installed a coolant reserve tank. All of the above were new parts. In your subsequent visit, we had to replace coil #4 (nothing to do with coil #3 so we did charge for this work). You are correct that we are not the cheapest. But we stand behind our work with a three year, 36k mile warranty. I am sorry we did not have a loaner for you yesterday and your experience with us was not to your satisfaction. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! Mr. Walt is no longer the owner and these new people are dishonest and do not know how to work on cars that good like when Walt was there. We paid them thousands of dollars to fix my mothers truck and when she left it started making loud noises and pulling to left as we drove it. Took it back to them and they told us they don’t know why it’s doing it and they don’t know how to fix it!!??? This is after taking it back 3 times, paying them and mind you it was not doing any of that when we took it to them!!! Do not use these people!! Save your time and money and go to a professional who cares about its customers!!!

Very unhappy.. I was told my vehicle would be done late afternoon next day. That's the only reason I took my vehicle there. I am here from out of town and have a heart condition so getting my vehicle back asap was important seeing as how it was being used for work purposes. I was told extra things were wrong that werent and after arguing with the guy on the phone who basically stated his "dilemma " was more important than me getting home to my medications I was charged almost 500 dollars for basically nothing seeing as how the truck wasnt fixed AND I had to go retrieve the axle so I could tow my vehicle somewhere else that was open on weekends. Highly suggest not going here and will be reporting to BBB. Not only did i go through hell with them but paid massively for nothing as well!!!!! Their website says they care about their customers.... guess that's a bold face lie!

Tara - We are very sorry that we did not meet your expectations and the time requirement to return your vehicle. We had to send the axle out to a third party to perform some work on it and they could not get it back to us in time on Friday. Hopefully the other shop was able to complete the work over the weekend for you. My name is Bruce Spencer and I am the owner.
